Great food, great drinks! Strong not burnt! Live entertainment is always a plus. Wish I could have finished the steak but it was worth every penny! Right next to where we are camping also makes this place a return to see the breakfast menu in the a.m.!
We were looking for breakfast before we started our tour at Graceland and saw the reviews for this place and decided to have breakfast here. Keep in mind that the positive reviews are mostly for the lunch and dinner crowd.
Our food was neither good nor bad, it was straight out "restaurant supply' fare. Nothing imaginative or different.
The server who helped us was unfailingly sweet, professional, on point and kept up as best she could, all with a smile on her face.
The food took about 45 minutes to come out and we were one of only 4 tables in the joint.
The menu was short and simple, not sure why in the world it took so long to come out, but do NOT come here if you're in a hurry.
The icing on the cake was the owner, an older man who was putzing around the bar area, talking to a lone customer who came in for breakfast and generally not helping at all. Our server ran back and forth from the kitchen trying to help everyone, the old dude didn't even try to help by refilling drinks or coffee. He actually walked by a couple of young girls with his coffee cup and asked them how they were doing and then walked away without offering them more coffee. WTH?
All 3 stars are for the young lady who helped us and whom we tipped well. I hope to God she didn't have to share her tips with the lazy owner or the slow-mo cooks in the kitchen.
Ordered through Uber Eats; food was prepped and ready for delivery within 25 mins, which is pretty good for timing.
I had the Sampler Platter (ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket); the brisket was the best I've had yet! My sides were greens (amazing) and fried okra (nailed it).
I also ordered a tuna salad for my breakfast the next day; wonderful.
Highly recommended if you want take out.
Great place to eat! Nice and clean! Beef brisket was perfect! Beans and coleslaw we're out of this world! Staff extremely friendly. Wish I could have stayed longer for the karaoke on Wednesdays!
It was my first time there. I definitely recommend this place. You have to ask for Mattie she was wonderful. A seasoned server paired with good food is all I ask for ask a being a server with impeccable skills. Mattie delivered and management was very hospitable as well. Inviting us to visit the gift shop while our food was being prepared. I had the 6pc wings dry with Buffalo on the side and some melt in your mouth green beans with red onions added. The wings are "smoked then deep fried to perfection" is what the menu said. I totally agree. I saved some to take home to my mom in Cincinnati. My only regret is not getting the sauce on the wings.
Had never been here or heard of this place, I drive for Uber, dropped off two passengers found a Great place to eat, with great service and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back.
Excellent Brisket and Ribs. Great Onion rings. Great service and atmosphere. Highly recommended!!
We have had several breakfasts and dinner (just tonight) in the Rock n Roll cafe over the past few days during our week trip to Memphis. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. It is less than a 5 min walk from Graceland and I would recommend to anyone visiting for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Will definitely be back some more before our trip is over.
